Today my visiting teaching district went to the Columbia River Temple. While we were visiting our sisters in July and talking about the blessings of the temple, we all decided it would be fun to go together. Today was the day! We did four of our family names, and one sister's husband was sealed to his parents.
The session was followed by lunch at Olive Garden, of course. The never-ending salad bowl got a pretty good workout.
It was a 10 hour visiting teaching visit, but so worth the time we spent. I love that temple because of the beautiful murals of the Columbia Basin in the endowment room. It makes me appreciate the beautiful part of the world Heavenly Father created for us right here.
I'm tired tonight, but feel very happy.
