It was 110 here today! That's plenty hot, but not quite as bad as you'd think. We had a discussion at dinner on the topic of swimming on Sunday. At the time it seemed like a non-Sabbath activity, but as Steve put the pool cover on at 9 p.m. and it was still 99, the idea seemed, well shall we say, a little more enticing. We're talking letter of the law here, but is it so bad to soak your legs? And if you should accidentally fall in? No, seriously we weren't that tempted. We enjoyed a wonderful Sabbath. Home teacher came. We did some home teaching ourselves.
We're taking off at 6 a.m. for Oregon. It's strawberry season!
