This morning Flat Adrian and I went hiking in the desert. The wind was gusty, so he had to hold a rock while I took his picture. He was afraid he'd blow away.Too bad you have to wear the smile painted on your face when you're flat because I'm pretty sure he's not too happy about the cactus spines sticking in his back.
I wasn't too happy either, because I got chastised for parking on the side of the road and walking into the desert 20 yards to take the pictures. There was a sign that said No Parking Anytime, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised. But still! I was out in the boonies. I guess I'm even with Steve now for the time he parked on the sagebrush.
This afternoon I'm mailing him back to Vancouver. Happy travels, Flat Adrian!
