We've been having fun with a string of relatives passing through town this past week. On Wednesday our niece Jill, husband, Ryan, and baby Lexi, along with Jeff W. and Ryan's brother Corbin stopped by for an overnighter on the way to the Rose Bowl. The guys got tickets to Let's Make a Deal at the Tropicana. The show will air sometime Valentine's week. They didn't win the new car, darn it all, but had a good time.
Tonight Gayle and Greg came down from Mesquite and we barbecued steaks and watched a little football. No matter how hard we cheered, those Ducks just couldn't quite pull it off.
Jill and crew will be back Saturday night, so the vacancy sign is still on.
Steve and I have been walking every day. Yesterday we ended up walking about 6 miles. At the end I decided I needed new running shoes so we made a quick trip to the Athlete's Foot. Today's walk was a little shorter with the new shoes. It feels good to get out. Thanks for all the walks in Sunriver, Heather. You got me jump started again.
And.... ta-duh! The couches came on Tuesday and they are awesome! The ability to sit. The recliners. It's simply heaven.
