Howdy, Buckaroos!

Cowboy day at Grandma's house started out with finger painting.

Our horses (and kids) had very colorful fur!

Next we got all decked out in our cowboy duds! Even the baby buckaroos learned how to cowboy up. 

We watched a video about real cowboys.  That's where Scarlett learned to tip her hat and say "Howdy!"

We took a turn at branding our doggies and chowed down on on some delicious grub -- hot dogs, beans and cornbread muffins.  And of course, a bottle of sarsparilla to drink!

 After an afternoon siesta, we headed to the park for some more horse time.

We played Snake in My Hat and read some stories, all before heading to bed under the glow in the dark stars.  Happy trails, my cowboy friends!
